No no, not at ALL costs. a 1"-1.25" bl is okay, plenty of people do that. It's not too big and it looks just fine. But anything over that is a bit much.

big BL suck tho. and are ugly. Ill kick your jeep.

Haha, driving it may help dry it out too, esp if its a longer drive and stuff heats up.

Might want to add bedlining your jeep to your list. Then you can just take the carpet out to let it dry, or take it out for good. I'm doing that in a few weeks after vacation and after we lift the JKU...

I'd prefer no kicking so won't be doing that

Well... 03s and up are a little different for TJs. They made minor changes so not everything is compatible. Most things, just not everything. Are they the sound pods as in the sound bars or the ones that go behind the seat?

Hmmm... Idk why those wouldn't fit. I am pretty sure they changed how far the seat slide forward and back in '03 which may be why they aren't working right.

I'm sure you could try to make it work. Or do sound pods in other places. I think you can get them for the space above the wheel wells in the back.

I'm a high school senior, and a girl. I bought a salvaged 05 lj and rebuilt her myself. I really reccommend the Rubicon Express 2" budget boost. Not only do they give you Cnc machined pucks, but you get heavy duty shocks, aka "the cadillac ride". That's what I've got on mine. It made some room for 33x12.5 Goodyear wrangler duratracs, which I highly reccommend.

Good luck with the build! And don't go the cheap way. Yeah it sucks and we all want a lifted jeep, but honestly, it's better to wait it out and get a good product.

Ps check out my build thread: My LJ Build

Are there only two types of lifts? Suspension and body? Seems dumb, but a dumb question is a question never asked.
