About a month ago I bought an 06 jeep wrangler 2.4l 6 speed with 27000 miles one owner for 9,000 dollars .
The top that was on it had only been once Until I bought it
I replaced the top ( and factory top is for sale ) with a rampage bowless .
New blinstense shocks and bf goodwrench a/t
I know plan for a 2.5 body lift ( where to buy from idk ) new bumpers
Winch rocker guards
And rubicon wheels .
That sweet man. I'm in high school as well, but I've got my 01 TJ! I would suggest not doing such a big body lift. Maybe a BB (the pucks) type of lift. I saved up for a 2.5" susp. lift myself and netted a total of 3 in. Sounds like a sweet plan though man!
Why would you get a 2.5 bl? Why not just get a 2.25 coil spacer lift for like $100?
Nice looking jeep though.. How do you like the new soft top? Is it easier to take off? How does it fold up?

Thank for the advice I dont know much about lifting a jeep and I LOVE. The new top turns into a bikini top in two min. Completely off in 5 much easier ( but my factory one wad hardly ever put down ) and it fits in a duffle bag .
It took me FOREVER! I also broke a grade 11 bolt with my torque wrench to complicate things, but lets not talk about it lol. Terrible times. Gotta paint my last rim this week and clean up my discos to throw on before we head to the beach.
Just got back from Georgia with my sister wasn't supposed to rain here for 3 more days my top was down and my dad promised if it was going to rain he'd put the top on it . He pit a cheap tarp on it during a down pour carpet seat roll bar covers soaked advice ?
Hope its sunny out tomorrow and dont worry about it. if you wana be safe you could throw some towels in it now to help it soak up. you should be fine though.
Let it sit in the sun. It dries right out. I had my jeep soaked one morning when there was a ten percent chance of rain. Just sat it in the sun for a little while. It'll be all good
Thanks heck of a surprise to pull in your drive way and see water pooling out of your jeep threw the drain plugs ( my dad at Least knew he screwed up he pulled the plugs ) and right after I start my build thread ( been putting it off did it in the car on the way home ) so my carpet will be okay ???
You can pull your carpet in a few weeks and check for rust or mold if you really want. I say take the doors off and top and let it sit out tomorrow. use a hairdryer if you need to and throw those towels in there like I said.
