06 Unlimited Black Betty

about 10 month ago I traded my truck in on an 06 Unlimited and frankly it was so little and had stripes on it but it was a good deal so I went for it, I read thru countless write ups and decided I would go with a 37 inch tall tire, (which the largest I had ever run was a 35 on my XJ). So I had good luck with the KM2's so I decided to buy a set of em from Discount Tire, I had to figure out what rim I wanted to run and the 37 only came in a 17 inch rim size so I had to figure out what rim would work witha 5 on 4.5 lug size.So I went with a Moto Metal 909 Skull rim. In the meantime I had to figure out what lift I wanted to run and what I could afford, I had saved up for 3 years and wanted to do it right the first time. My wife has been very understanding and I think she had gotten the bug a little so for my birthday she got me a K/N cold air intake, and a set of Lite Dot rear LED's. So I had decided it would be a 6 inch Fab Tech but the Rock Krawler 5.5 Triple Threat kept coming up and so the day had come to order the lift and I called Northridge4x4 They sealed the deal with a Rock Krawler 5.5 long arm. so here are my pics

Very nice. I'm toying with the idea of getting a LJ, I've wanted one since they came out but can't give up my tj. I did find a 05 rubicon w 39k for 16 grand. At least I know what it will look like with 37's!

LJ Rubicons are kinda rare around here and they would be around 18K, If I were you I would jump on that deal you will never look back, the room that the LJ has over the TJ is night and day, D44 front is alot better than a D30 I am looking at buying a new front axle so I can have a little extra strength
