2.2 Chrysler Turbo on 2.5 Jeep Engine?

OK I just scored, super cheap, a turbo and manifold from a chrysler 2.2L. Can this be as simple as a bolt on project? or will I need to do any modifications? (other than boost gauge, etc...)

From what I've read the 2.2 exhaust is different from the 2.5's.... but the 2.4's seem to be the same. Was the 2.2 out of a LeBaron?

there is no bolt on turbo set up for the 2.5, at least not with out getting a full blown kit. aside from the mechanical bits, you also need the proper tuning for it. either way, forced induction on a 2.5 is not going to be cheap. its not cheap on any motor for that matter.

even if you get it to bolt up, you have just opened another can of worms....which if you do not have a pretty good understanding of what you are doing will end in one of three things.
1. blown up motor
2. naturally aspirated motor that doesn't seem to work was well as it use to.
3. you completely give up.

This is a problem that Honda guys can't seem to comprehend. adding a turbo is not as simple as slapping a turbo on the engine, and plugging in larger injectors. You need more, or it won't work well/at all.

a guy I know added a turbo to his toyota Yaris (or something like this) he did that after coming back from the sand box and it seems to be holding well.
