87 Climate Control Mod..help me do this.

ok since i cant get my CC unit to work properly im gonna ditch it all and just do a on / off toggle switch for the blower motor and put a custom plate with toggle switchs in place of the CC unit. i think this will function and look cool anyway so i can put another toggle or 2 there in the future for lights along with my choke control. ect. ect..

now i can do all the fab stuff i just need some old yj head " or young" out there to help me with the wiring from the CC unit , i need to know which wires i need to cut to put on the toggle switch.so that just the blower motor is working. i will be closing all the vents except for defrost by hand and leaving them like that. i meen come on, its a jeep, no room for luxury right? haha.

i will get some pics tomorrow of the unit but feel free to chime in , i want to get this project started ASAP, all help will go towards the documentation so it will be easier for anyone to do in the future.

cheers
dan,

ok, with a lot of trial and error, and a few blown fuses i got this to work. i now know almost every wire under the dash in a YJ. here are a couple pics of the finished project. if you need help doing something like this just let me know and i will be glad to guide you through it. this a toggle switch for heat only on high and manual choke cable, i will eventually put a couple more toggles in for lights and what not. so here it is.
