Default 88 YJ OBA from stock compressor

Is there any reason why I couldn't use my stock a/c compressor for an OBA set-up?

Do I have to use a York?

Has anyone done this?

Finally a non-bashing statement to me from Dave!

No but really I have no idea where to start with this project.

What type of fittings, switches, valves and what not would I need?

BTW, hows your Redhead build going Dave?

i don't think i've bashed anyone, at least not on purpose , was it about the lift and tires?

anywho, i know it was pretty easy to get all the info you need to build it by searching the web, i searched it out a while ago.

i'm making slow but steady progress on the redhead, thanks for asking. i got a family style roll bar out of a pick n pull today for it. speaking of oba i also picked up an air pressure gauge at a swap meet for it also. i'm focusing on putting the d44 w/lockrite in the black one now.

only thing that i know of about doing OBA is you have to have one that is oiled separately from the air side of the compressor, yorks are very popular for this application... i only have heat and fresh air so i dont have a compressor on mine
