Ok so today we started the rock sliders. They are going to go about 9 inches up and 6 inches under and will have a step bar as well as door cut outs. 5 1/2" bolts will hold them in place and I don't know yet but more than likely I will build a large spacer in the back side... The pics:
i have to write up an update but we got all the pieces for the other side cut, just need to weld them together and we got the step bar on this side as well as drilled the holes. recently im having stuttering jerking loss of power problems so i have a list of stuff it could be. wooo there goes my weekened
and when i was installing my front bumper way back when i messed up the bulb in my KCs so instead of replacing the bulb i decided to just upgrade my KCs to LED pods and while i was at it i just went ahead and bought a 30" LED light bar from: Home great stuff and cheap!
looks like this now
its bright, i think im going to get a 50" off of them in the near future. in the meantime i think i have some decent wheeling pics i never uploaded
I see you brought back your build thread like me haha. Been nearly a year. But got busy and got married And jeep got pushed to the back.. I need a plasma cutter bad.. All i got is Tube bender, notcher, Mig, stick, and new to the family Tig! next on my list is a plasma then maybe a tube roller. Anyways.. like the Sliders. And that light bar also. Need a Red/blue federal bar on there!
that would be sweet! I'm going to get a 50" in the near future, and the plasma cutter is awesome. so much cool possibilities there... i want to swap in the 8.8 but im not sure if i will be able to swing that anytime soon so well see!
im getting ready to go to college so if i do axle swap ill stay sua for now because since i have the 2.5 i cant turn 35s and soa with even stock springs is too high for 33s. if i had some extra cash i would do stock springs and sua then regear and roll 35s or 37s
Okay recent update! My jeep has Been sporadically sputtering and jerking and I wasn't sure why until one of my buddies suggested taking it to a guy he knew who was good with old cars and he suggested the fuel pump so Monday we decided to change it. We dropped the tank, got all the lines off, and got the pump out only to find out the guy gave us the wrong part at O'Reilys!! So we had to wait until Tuesday to get the new one and put it in but since then it has bee running and working fine so I'm hoping that was my problem! Also I got my rock lights, I'm soldering new wires on them soon so I can extend them, and after I put my sliders on I'm going to bolt the lights on. In my near future I see a 50" led bar from Illuminationleds.com! I'll get some pics up tonight
