Still working on light mounts but we threaded and drilled new holes so now I have mirrors again! Need to get underneath and wire brush the whole thing then spray bomb it, I'm entering it in a 'show' of sort
So I got a call for a recovery from someone I didn't expect to need one...
So I guess he was driving home and his gps took him down a dirt back road and since it was muddy he got stuck. He was also trespassing somehow because it went through someone's property so I didn't take to many pics
I'm enjoying it... I went through a dead period where I have just been wheeling but it's time to start building again... My current check list includes an 8.8, custom front bumper that I'm having built, and maybe a body lift to run some 35s. I also have KCs tht I need to build windshield mounts for. I'm also going to put some lights on the back of the bumper so I can see when I am backing up and I'm gonna put rock lights underneath. That's my next short term stage
Ok I'm subscribed now I'm gonna keep watching. Ill have to make sure to take lots of pictures and maybe start a build thread too. This is my first Jeep, so I'm learning so much. Good luck with the axle swap.
Word of advice, you read through my build, do the shift fork mod!! It takes like an hour and can save you an afternoon of recoveries! Let me know if you have any questions. I'm no expert but I have my fair share of knowledge
Went for a night wheeling trip last night, we had a land cruiser with us. It took 2.5 hours to get that thing unstuck when he tried to drive up a muddy river. It was crazy. Unfortunately no pics but I will hopefully start building again soon
