I have a 2.5 that has a lil chatting at idle can anyone help me? Is it worth adjusting the rockers or a waste of time nothing to worry bout? If so what do I set them at?? Thanks for any help

Dont know if your still having this issue, but if so dont bother even taking your valve cover off. They are hydraulic rockers and therefore have no adjustment in them. It could be a valve spring getting a little weak, but its hard to tell unless you want to tear the head off. i would just keep driving it. Hope this helps

Change the oil and add some LUCAS oil stabilizer to it and see if that help's it will thicken up the oil and it should help or fix the problem, worked for me in the past in my 2.0VW

With hydraulic lifters no adjustment. The retainers for the rockers are torqued at 19 ft/lbs. Keeter 6227 had the right call. It is oil change as in brand and an additive for a mild rattle in the valve train. The 2.5L is famous for a little noise. Someone the other day had the same problem and tried a high milage oil don't remember the brand hope all this helps.
