Aannnd another tire carrier

Sorry another tire carrier thread, but this is my first "build" on this jeep and I just wanted to show it off. It's not completely done, but it's useable at this point. I'm open to helpful hints and pointers. Thanks

If you notice the white spacer between the bumper and carrier that is hdpe "plastic" to take some of the load off the latch assembly.

Looks great did you build that latch assembly or use one from something else?

The hole in the receiver is too small for a hitch. Dammit! does anyone have any ideas on how to open it up a bit?

How big is the hole? Are you trying to use a 2" hitch?

Nice job, can you post a close up pic of the pin / tube system you got to move the tire in and out? Im planning on doing that but not sure what size tubing to use. Did you make that part from scratch or were you able to find tubing that fits in the outer sleeve?

Also what is overall length of your main tube?
