I'll get a pic but mine just kinda sits right behind the console I've been thinking of making some sort of mount for it

I've got about a dozen cans but they just get set in the back. If I need to secure them I just strap them down to the footman loops back there.

Sorry no photos...pretty boring design on my part.

Ive actually thought about like taking three cans cutting the sides off of the middle one and one side off of each of the side ones and welding them together then welding the lids together to open at once

Here's where I mounted mine. Use it for gun safe when I am not able to carry. With the tailgate closed and locked, they will have to work alittle bit harder getting it open. You can buy a can with the lock mounted or buy a lock kit from AmmoLock.com.

Talking

These are my ammo cans, I'm planing to put them in a sliding platform in the place of the rear seat. For now they will be anchored to the floor.

You might be able to use a 2 battery holder and use one battery and put the can on the other tray

I just bought 2 ammo cans yesterday, I put one under the hood for random fluids and rags and a 10mm wrench. The other I am thinking of painting Black and mounting to the center of the spare tire.

I will get pics

I agree, but it's what I consider a "nuisance" lock, it will stop them for about 10 seconds

No they don't. I have 2 gun locks on my ammo cans. One from a Ruger, one from a Glock. Two totally different keys.
