axle swap?

I have 89 wrangler, i have heard you can do a rear axle swap with a certain year ford explorer rear axle with disc brakes. if anyone know what year/years would work for me it would be greatly appreciated.

96 to 2000(?) explorers. spring pads have to be moved outward about 5/8". Lots of write ups on the web about this
