How much added strength does the inner sleeve add to the diff? It looks pretty beefy.

not sure prescisley but this is for another dual sport build, were hoping it will hold up well. currently the owners stock LP 30 is smiling at him.... IMO it would be very difficult to bend those axle tubes. the next weak link is the knuckles and C's

Yeah I agree that it would take some trying to bend those tubes!
Very nice work, btw...

you mean where the tube goes into the centersection? no were gonna put a couple beads on the centersection to the outer axle tube to keep it from spinning. with the 5 roset welds aand and the complete burn on the end that thing isnt going anywhere. we do less welding in slugs on roll cages and never have an issue. its all burned in with a tig with one of the correct rods for welding to cast

If you google rock-slide, they make an outter sleeve kit that will fit the jk D30/D44. I am going with this and the EVO inner sleeves. Just doesnt look like us JK's got much room for an upper axle truss, plus we can still gusset and prolly clear our springs..

Yea alot of guys wont do much to a dana 30, but for me they are cheap to get, strong enough for my 33s and i do a lot of side work in a fab shop so materials and labor is free or cheap..... im not looking to run big giant tires, just looking to go fast lol

Anyone that forces companies to pay him money to be talked about on a cheap internet forum is not only a disgrace to the community, but a disgrace to humanity. Greedy bastard. There, thats how I feel
