CAD Model

I would like to fab my own roll cage and was wondering if anyone out there had a solid model/CAD model for a pre-2006 LJ or a cage model they used for an LJ? Thanks for the help!

i've looked around and haven't found too much...i'm interesting in finding some jeep parts also to work with.

Turbosquid has a lot of models, not sure if any will work for you, didn't browse much. I would go post on some design sites/forums...

I've used models off the net for some projects before only to find out the models are inaccurate, if you do find a solid model, check and recheck against your host. Just my thoughts. Laters,

I used to use LimeWire and would search for movies, software, models and music. You have to be careful of what you download, some parasites out there would put worms, trojan horses and viruses in their files. I stopped using that software after a malicious file (parasolid) broke my computer with every thing in it. Try looking at Vuze formerly Azureus, lots of people share this type of files. Good luck. Laters,

I have bendtech software and model my own, before I had that I took pictures fo the jeep needing the cage and drew it in over the photo with a sharpie, then took meassurements from that, calculated the bend tolrances for the amount of tube sed in a bend, add 10-15% for cut off/ waste and you have everyting you need.

I've got 2010 AutoCAD as well as 3D cad Id say I'm pretty good with it. I'm in the process of designing a front bumper for my TJ if you would email or send me the dimensions I can draw it for you.
