I used 1 1/2 inch channel iron, primed, painted it and cut it to length to attach to foremost existing holes on my roll bars, drilled holes, attatched w/bolts, drilled holes for and attached c b mounts, ran antenna cable and power wires behind the passenger sun visor (used cable clamps approx 14-16 inches)down the side of the windshield to the fuse box behind the glovebox and the antenna cable runs to the rear, an easy piece to slide up under the door lip etc all the way to the fender back. Also I put the open side of the channel up, I have a place to hang my mic and a nice little storage area for small objects when not off road!

Either fix it or live with it, I have no tolerance for complainers!

I just took some metal shelfing from home depot a layed it across my roll cage, then cut out a small section on each side of the shelf so i could insert zip-ties to go around the roll bar. Very easy to do and the panels work so you can keep all your wires well hidden. Jus put the cp wires inside the opening in the shelf.

I did this years ago but went the opposite direction as everybody else.

I ran a piece of 3/16 steel U-channel clamped to the footmam loop at one end and made a shoulder to push up against the padded roll bar. Then covered it with black cloth.
About the only pic I have of it now.
