custom gadget mount

hi ya,
im trying to come up with some designs and ideas for a custom gadget mount. the gadgets would include an iphone, ipod, small garmin nuvi205, an amatuer radio control unit. the mount itself doesnt have to be secure, i always take all my crap with me... seems to be the best way to secure your stuff.

I'm looking for more of a homebrewed sort of thing. if I were to buy one I know I would go with ram mounts. I was just hoping that I could see a few hand fabbed ones to get an idea for something unique.

I know you are interested in a homebrewed setup, but I have the one from Bracketron. It would be terribly easy to make, but honestly it's so cheap, I'm not sure I would bother.
The basic mount itself can handle several different types of device mounts...GPS, cell phone, MP3, etc.

It's not really homebrew, more a repurpose. I used an "L" bracket theat was lying around to hold the mount for the dual-band's control head in the change tray above the top center vents.
