Dana 35

I'm looking for someone who can tell me why my Dana 35 is eating the spider gears?? It started popping when I let out on the clutch about a year ago I finally found the spider gears about completely wiped out as the problem (I thought) I replaced them and the outer berrings now a year and a half later and the problem has returned????? (Please HELP!)

What are you running in/on your Jeep? Tires, motor, gears, etc?

I have 33x12.50 tires and my ratio is 3.73 my power plant is a 4.6L Golen engine about 330hp but I replaced the spider gears before the motor upgrade.

A dana 35 cant even handle the power and torque of a 4 banger. With 330 HP you need a dana 44 or ford 9inch.

This.
Those oversized tires and that much power is more than any part of the d35 can really handle. It will keep chewing up parts and spitting them out till you install a rear end that is up to the challenge
