dana 44 help

Ok people I need some help! I've searched and searched and can't find any articles clarifying the combination to achieve this. I have a set of 88 Grand waggoneer axles that I 'm building to go under my 01 Tj. I would appreciate any info from anyone who has any experience with these axles buy the main issue I'm having is with the front. I've read somewhere that Chevy flattop knuckles and ford parts can be added to it. I have the flattop knuckles from a mid 70s k10(Ithink) , that I'm sure will fit. The part I'm not sure of is the spindles, bearings, and hubs I need to use. I know I could just buy a conversion kit but that runs over $1000 and I refuse to pay that when I can just get the parts from Autozone and put it together myself. I've heard that I need some ford parts like spindle and hub but in my research I still can't figure out what parts to get. Any info would be helpful!

other than get axles installed, what is your issue, what are you trying to accomplish?

I got an early 70s ford d44. It has Chevy flat tops, Chevy spindles and ford late 70s f150 rotor and hub with Chevy disc backing plate/mount and calipers. I could take a better look at the parts if you need. I bet a search for d44 disc conversion will get the part numbers you need.

Just bought a True Hi9 rear and a D44 front, both with ARB's and 4.88 gears!! Check out the build!
