You want a 98-99 from a v8 without the snow plow option

Thanks. Found a seal kit on eBay. How would I know if its just seal or the unit. Other then replace the seals and check for leaks?

I did this on my 98 TJ, it is a direct bolt up and I think it's a faster ratio also (don't quote me on that) I noticed a big difference turning my 35's over the stock box. I also put on a box brace

Any recommendations on where to get them from? I am think a new/refurbed one would be better then one from the junk yard.

advanced auto, rock auto, napa, etc.... they are expensive though, but I got mine from a pull a part here locally, some PAP will give you a warranty for 30 days or so. Just try and find one that doesn't look like it has front end damage, less chance of getting a broken or stripped box.

When I put one in my old XJ I pulled it from the junkyard, I got lucky and found a 99 Durango that was rear ended and only had 35k miles on it. And they sold me the box for 40$ with a 30 day warranty
