you aren't gonna do anything like that without a nice tube bender, and a cad program. i work part time at a buddies fab shop, i help him make full cages, and that is some hard stuff. the angles and measurements are crazy, definately need special tools and experience.
now i think there's simpler stuff you could build at home.

Square tubing? I'm not sure I understand. Would this be easier for a welder? |

the way that is designed there are probably a couple welds on that bumper cause they bend that or just stamp it. what i would do in fabbing a front bumper is use round tube or square either or and just design it so you are cutting the tube on angles and butt welding them together i dont know about strength but youll get your custom fabbed bumper you want just play around with making a bumper with as little bends as possible. like for the stinger instead of having one pipe with a 160-170 degree bend in it it you can angle two pieces and cut so they meet at a point which kill someone if you ever got into an accident lol. or have two pieces with one straight top piece going across like /-\ i know thats shitty but you at least get what i am trying to say with angles i bet you can design a bumper with no bends and all you you have to do is cut angles and notch and your good

Building the bumpers you posted can be a pain and take alot of practice, here are a couple I have done the first one is pretty basic
this one took alot of work and time to get it right
it all depends on how much time and money you want to put into it.

If you have a Harbor Freight where you live they have pipe benders that arent to bad for like $80. Thats what I used on mine. 6" channel, 1/4" thick. My hoop is out of 1-1/2" pipe the small pipes are 1" maybe. Dont remember exactly. That bad boy aint going anywhere! Me and my dad built it in two days. Just sit down look through pictures of bumpers. Find something you like and that you can do with the equipment you have.

The tube fenders for the CJ I made myself and used the original fenders for the skin. was pretty easy except for the upper skin it had some rust in between the two layers of steel that I had to get rid of so I could get a good bead with my welder.
The winch plate is not part of the bumper but it bolts into the top of the bumper, it is a standard warn winch plate i got for 99.00. I will see if I can find the specs for that one as it has been a while since i built that one. I will be making one like it for my YJ I like that style a lot and it took a lot of abuse and a lot of winching out other people and never had an issue with it.

Here is what I did this weekend with some 2x4 square tubing and some 1 1/2 sch 40 tubing. I still need to put a winch plate and 2 more light tabs on it but it cost me around 250 total.

I made my stinger with the cheaper harbor freight bottle jack bender.
It's designed to bend pipe only a little past 90 degrees, so there is two slight kinks but they are hardly noticeable.
The hitch was off my old Ford Exploder.
The death hooks are welded on with multi-pass lo-hi. They ain't ever gonna pull off!

I'm thinking of adding the side wings from the pic in the first post, to my setup!
Should be pretty sweet!

I designed and built this instead and really like the way my TJ looks now. I am thinking of cutting the stock bumper down. Not sure on that one yet though.
It is probably not what you are looking for, but it is an idea. I haven't gotten the costs together yet, but am sure I will not be paying more than $50 for this project. Similar grille guards cost 3-400 and up. Actually the one that I found and really liked was over $500.
Good luck with your decision.
Dan

I just happen to find a peice of scrap 3/16 steel that was already bent
and was the right size to fit the frame rails plus the winch plate is one peice and bolts in the all the original bolts plus it uses the swaybar bolts (theres a peice of metal on the bottom for the bottom bolts)
that gives you a very solid mounted winch bumper
