Front bumper license plate install

So I'm getting this bumper from Trail-Gear, and I'm not sure where to put the front plate. I was thinking of attaching it to the light tab holes on the top of the hoop, but I don't think I want it there because it would act like a sail, and look ridiculous.

Is there any reason why I can't mount it directly to the plate where it says Jeep?

Please, I would love to hear suggestions for this.

I don't see a problem with that but I know he cops/troopers up in Mass can be a bit anal about stoopid things.

Heck of a thing to have to put a plate on something that looks that good. Think I would rig up some type of hanging/swinging plate from the bottom center, let it swing back with the breeze or anything you might drive over and not have it just "stuck" on cause it's gotta be there...

I say stop by your local police station and run a few possible locations by them. I think mounting it angled over the frame cover would work, unless you get a winch...then you can get this!

it need to be visible from 60 feet and at a 45 degree angle from both sides. Bumber looks nice but is going to cause trouble with the plate. A green (older) plate would be nice in this situation!

Agreed about the green plate. To bad I didn't move to Mass until 07. There are two screws holding on a skid plat in the front that I might use to do this:

Although I do love the idea of just holding it out the window.
