4.56's should be OK for you - if you have a D35 rear axle, look into building it or replacing it with a stronger axle since 35's don't seem to like lower gears. That's another discussion though.

4.56 or 4.10's depending on what ur looking for. def either a super35 kit or upgrade to a D44 out back.

I have a dana 30 and dana 35 rear. I'm running 33's with 4:10's with a manual tranny. I would go with 4:56's. My dana 35 has survived quite a bit and just waiting for it to go BANG.

33" tires, 4.0L, 5 Speed tranny you need 4.56 gears to return you engine to the designed operating RPM range.

As mentioned above the 33's are a bit much for a D35 and serious consideration should be taken into upgrading. Super35 kit from Superior Axle is a great choice.

the dana 35 is a boat anchor and I would not invest a dime into it. find an 8.8, or dana 44 and run that

Contrary to belief - If you don't plan on running more than 33+ (and some say 35's) a true S35 kit will just fine. Superior's kit is top of the line and is known to be stronger (as strong as) a Dana 44 axle.

8.8's are another way to go - but if you can't weld and set the axle up by yourself or with a buddy or buy a one bolt in ready then you're going to have to pay someone to do it for you. There goes the cost savings that are minimal at most if done right.

If you plan on spinning tires, climbing rocks, getting stuck, wheel hopping.Any added shock to axles and gears you will need to upgrade with stronger housings. It's common sense.I have 33's w/4.50 rears W/6spd.tranny with lighter rears.I visit beach and hiway .I'll be fine if i don't SHOCK IT! It's all up to what your going to do with it.

I have 4.56's, 4.0, 5-speed. I don't do alot of wheelin' but some, stock axles with 30/35's, I have had NO troubles at all. With the 4.56's, I can get in traffic without problems.

With 33's you will not need to upgrade the axles in your D30. You will be fine.

Be sure to call Gerald at Savvy for awesome pricing on the S35 kit, front/rear gears and master install kits.

I went with the Detroit Locker in the rear and love it.
