Default Grill guard on stock bumper

Just finished this today. Still need to ream out shackle holes and paint.

It is made out of 3/8" plate. The hoops around the headlights is 2"x1/4" flat bar. One of my co-workers (also a Jeep owner) helped me out with it. Here are a couple of pics.

I am going to be mounting lights on the plate, but may, in the future mount a winch.

There are a couple of us on here. Another good site for us WI folks is WI4x4.com. It is a family friendly place and a good bunch of people. I have been on for a while and just met some of them this weekend up in Crivitz. We wheeled the pipeline on Sat. They also went to McCaslin on Sun. (I did not go) Here is a link to the pics I took on Sat.

Memorial Day Weekend wheelin pictures from friends & fun photos on webshots

WF is a great site, you will love it, and learn a lot.

See you around the site and hopefully the trails.

That is badass!

It has a nice military feel to it... And I like that!

That's where I got the idea. Our hummers had grill guards that were similar. Those had to tilt forward to open the hood though. Mine is solid to the frame.

Thanks for the compliment.

I probably would not be able to do this. I do not have a shop. I did this at work and have been there less than a year, so I was actually surprised they let me do this. We build industrial shredders and material handling fans and cutters. Grille guards don't really fit into the product line.

Sorry, but thanks for the compliment.
