Hi lift mount

Ok so shoot me, but I've searched and searched and can't find a good hi lift mount thread. I don't want to mount it to the bumpers (dumb) and am not a fan of the hood mount. Just curious to see if anyone got creative in their mounting spots.

Can I assume you have seen the one that sells for 80 bucks and mounts it to the roll cage, or the one (not sure how much)that's a universal mount for any tube bumper/light bar/roof rack?

I plan on making my own this week and will post it.
Here's another, but you can get it cheaper.

Yea I've seen that one. I like it and will probably end up making one to match that, but just thought I'd see what others have done so it's not so much in the way.

mines mounted inside (best place for a hi lift) on a pair of metal cups with rubber pads around a threaded stud. Then used a retainer washer with a nut to hold it all down. It works very well and keeps the jack out of the elements.

you can use 2 2inch muffler clamps. mount your jack just above the gate. One clamp will bolt through the base plate the other through the upright part of the jack. One one the left roll bar the other to the right. I think i used 2" clamps they might be bigger...I can post pics if you would like.

Here is my version, I used plane old 2.5" u-bolts but might swap them for the muffler clamps, they look sturdier, but the u-bolts are pretty good for now. I also used wing nuts to secure the jack.

No cutting, the 48" jack fits perfect
