Started scuffing the body to prep for paint and found the X this tub was an x edition. Got the fenders and grille done hood and doors tomorrow. Not a perfect match but its no trailer queen ill be happy if it still has this body intact by the end of this year.

Ok this may be a slight over-reaction but if you replaced a windsheild 2 times before driving the project you know how I feel! Put a call in to auto glass for less after the safelite guy broke my glass 90% of the way through. Next week ill show everyone how to install 3/4" thick level one bulletproof glass. Im going to have the excess thickness protrude inside so from the outside there wont be any difference from stock. Im working on a steel bezel to weld in to hold the glass in place using stock glass as a template pics soon

When 7" fender flares just aren't enough! These are the rugged ridge ones off eBay cheap (170 shipped) still have 5" uncovered tire each side.

Thanks I just hope I don't run in to any issues considering the driveshaft goes in Friday so if there's any mayor problems I'm screwed. Had some trans issues already the torque converter was dancing around like crazy have to pick up the new one tomorrow.

3" mandrel bent tubing for the snorkel, still need to cut it down shorter and build a scoop. Also grinding and da standing the welds smooth before paint.

On the ride back from fonse performance after 2 days trying to figure out what was wrong with the tune or my fast xfi computer took them 1 hr to figure my msd off-road was on the fritz. It was throwing spark sporadically. The tune was fine.

Up and running, runs a little hot but I haven't switched over to the new oiling system still using a stock filter. Installing header wrap and heat shielding everywhere.

Just a thought but your intake tubing might be too small to feed that thing. The only reason I mention it is I have a buddy with a 13/1 383 in a wrangler and he had 4 inch on it for a snorkel and it leaned it out really bad. He ended up having to go with 6 or 7 inch to make up for the bends and reduced flow....I can find out the formula he used if you'd like

Forgot to mention the snorkel wasn't hooked up at the time so it was pulling the hot air from under the hood which doesn't help. I'm glad you mentioned the tubing size I was worried about that.

Finally figured out what was missing from my transfer case! Ugh it's a whole linkage and looks to be beyond my abilities to replace on my own

Update
Top got trashed in the hurricane flooded and fried everything but that's what insurance is for now I know progressive offers aftermarket coverage oops. There offering 7200 to total it or 4700 for us to keep it with a salvage title were fighting them on it. Better news just got savvy offroads rockers with stainless steps and there full aluminum corners as soon as we settle with insurance the computer and ignition will be replaced. Anybody with insurance info with jeeps can chime in here thanks.
