Is it the pic or did you cut tubes (inlet - outlet) coming out of the radiator?

If so.. Putting bends on them or something?

Yup that is the Be-Cool 60033 for a yj with LT1 swap so the tubes have to be switch sides for the sbc. I'm swapping them over tomorrow and starting the rad support.

I think I'm going with a Rad support mount similar to this by nemisis. I like to have the ability to unbolt the fenders and drain the coolant and drop the grille forward to access the motor/accessories.

Finished up the Rad support today but phone died and only saved one pic of it smart phone my A$$. Here's the lower portion, the outer sheet has a slot for the factory clips and the other side of the 2x2 tube has 4 slots and a locating hole. I'm using all the factory clips and snaps just like the jk to keep a nice clean look. All aluminum used was 1/8" for strength, whole assembly should be lighter and stronger then stock. Tomorrow I'm mounting the warn lights and ill post more pics. One again guys thanks for lookin

Here's the fenders cowls removed. I'll get them modified, installed and get the aluminum armor water jetted in the next week or 2.

Here's the oem replacement I picked up cheap to cut up and test out before I cut the other ones. The hood might be hard to make but should be worth it there's going to be more extra room under the hood then I thought. Phones camera is cracked.

Here's the adapter for the np205 its a th400 to np208/241 stock adapter. The Ford np205 is 31 spline input so I just need the 32 spline from a gm case to match the gm trans. No need for the $550 advance adapter this whole setup (tcase, gm sdapter, gm shaft) cost me $450.

Grille/Rad support almost done. Still need to gusset the light mount and build the mounts to the frame. The fenders will also bolt to it under the light mount. The bottom and top tubing is 1 3/4 sq. 1/8 wall the sides are 1" solid sq. stock and the all sheet metal is 1/8.

Building the mounts to the firewall just like on a stock jk, the upper tube on the Rad support will bolt to that

Here's the basic idea the fenders bolt down on top of the support as well.

Fenders bolted up and grille mocked in place, building the fender to Rad support mount and mounting the Rad support to the frame next.

Hood will take some work but with all the extra room gained I don't mind. There's over a foot between the motor and grille. The jk tub is wider by around 2" that's why the hood fits over the fenders. Cutting the inner structure of the hood will make it easy to move a little at a time and replicate each change from one side to the other.

Mounts for the fender to grille are done (forgot a pic get one tomorrow) here's the beginning of the upper mount. Just have the last two pieces left that will tie into the firewall. Building everything on the welding table to ensure its all trued up and the angles are exact on both sides. Probably starting the hood tomorrow.

Thanks I have a habit of going too far on these builds, I saw there was some interest in a few forums on this but nobody attempted it as far as I can tell.

Went to pepboys the manager let's me look through stuff when I have a custom project. Found a strut mount to cut up for my Rad support mounts.

Here's the front without the grille the 2 pieces of box tube on the frame are just holding up the Rad support the mounts weren't finished in this pic.

Welded the cast aluminum mount to a piece of box tube cut with a hole saw then welded the flat end of box tube to the Rad support. Dug up a pair of old ballistic fab adjustable link mounts for the frame side.

Bumper almost done mocked up mounts not done yet. Looking for some opinions should I put 2 more warn lights recessed in the bumper with the winch mounted on top or lights on top winch recessed.

Didn't have room for the radiator cap so I cut it off welded it shut and I'm modifying the water pump just like meziere's smaller pumps. They only made 35 and 42 gpm pumps with the integrated tank I have a 55 gpm. Here's a pic off their site.

Here's mine

Started modifying should be done tomorrow
