Took the jeep out tonight to pull a Chevy out of a hole. My hood latches let go after I pulled the front end up and it came down pretty hard the hood popped up smacked the windshield frame. Pics tomorrow.
Not as bad as I thought buying a new hood for 150 and using the hinge area from this one to lengthen it again. Just got the rampage locking latches in today figures. A buddy taped caution tape all over the hood very funny he's got like 25 long zip ties on his driveshaft now
Got 2 case backhoe lights for reversing at night there almost as bright as the warns. There hooked up to to 2 switches, one that goes through the b&m shifters reverse switch and the other just constant on/off.
4.10 since I wanted street drivability but on the trail I have to shift the instant the pedal hits the floor. Found myself alone a few times when we were blasting some trail had to stop and wait for my friends Chevy, when he caught up he said he was doing 50 the whole time. I don't have a speedometer.
Yup just been workin like crazy so haven't had time to post. Got an atlas 2, 4.3 to 1 with universal shifters. The psc steering 2003-06 steering box is on, hard top and full doors added just last month. Poison spyder jk crusher aluminum front flares. Will post up pics tomorrow. Bought quads for myself the wife and both kids so we've been busy on the weekends lately I will try to get it ready for paint this weekend black or red not sure yet.
Hardtop and full doors are recent from an 06. Also installed psc extreme steering gear and new steering shaft. New tuffy overhead console went in today as well as brand new schoenfield headers to make more room for the front driveshaft.
Selling the old fuel system since at or below 1/2 tank it has cavitation and the motor leans out. Already have a new aeromotive stealth tank baffled and pump inside. Ready to go in place of the rear seat also going up for sale. Have the fuel pump electric water pump and new shrouded flexalite all wire to the fast xfi computer for better reliability.
