Homemade Tube Fender Build

Love the look and durability of tube fenders not to mention the clearance and huge gain of approach, but after shopping around for some I quickly figured that I could build my own for ALOT less. I figured if I totally botched the build I could always shell out the cash and go with some Genright high lines or some Metalcloks. This is how far I am in the build tonight. I pretty much only get to work in the late afternoons and weekends. No shop or garage... May whoever made it so hard to buy a house rot for all eternity. Anyway, this is where I am in the build, I will post up more pics tomorrow when the other side is finished. I have only trimmed what I know for sure I want gone. I made some mockup tubes from some conduit i found laying around my jobsite to get my cutting lines. I'll be ordering my tubes from jeeptubes.com, so I'll be rolling like this till I get them, and yes I'm aware of the missing blinkers I'll be dropping some 2.5" LEDs in there probably tomorrow.

So far I'm only in $0.00 and I've got a lot done. Building yourself is always so fun.
