And you will another jeeper friend of mine has 1/2 " plate on top of a 3.5" tube and had to weld a small piece of pipe on the inside because he was caving the plate inside of the tubing. They hit hard and often.I was considering the same thing
I should have gotten coil overs would have made life easier but broker keeping stuff streight in the springs is prooving to be a task.

Not any more I super beefed the top and bottom, they come close at full compression and full droop and you have to turn the springs so they work just right on the front and lock them in because of the spring bulge while it compresses. In the front spring is not my favorite spot what a pain. The front makes a side swinging motion almost like chewing and you dont reolize how much until you cycle it.I got all the limit straps done too and rear sway kit on just have to make another set of shock mounts and i'll get to try it out.

what size limit straps are you using. I used 12inch straps. but how I mounted them it limits me at about 10" or a little less. I need me some long arms!!

10" is really all you can get from the front, hangs up on jeep parts and springs fall out, I have 13" w 3" adjustable clevices ,The rear falls apart at 11 or 11 1/2"
and I have 22" on the rear, unless you put spring retainers top and bottom which im doing so i dont loose them cuz I have 14" shocks.
