Nice look. I ended up doing Xenon fenders because I had to cover the 35" 12.5 tires or I would not be able to get a State Safety Inspection.

After checking out this thread, today I whipped out some masking tape, eyeballed it and then hit the fender with the jigsaw. After cutting I used a file to smooth them out. I still may angle the front of the front fenders and maybe add the door protector trim but I'm sure if I need that. It took maybe 45 minutes tops.

Maybe it looks better in person but I think the JK having more flare left is what makes it look good. Just doesn't seem to have enough flare left on the TJ. =/

Yeah I think it does looks better in person. Right now everything's filthy. I need to paint them as well. I cut it as close to the edge as I could before it curved too much. They did not have much flare to begin with. I'm happy with it.

Perfect example as to why many jeeps turn out to be rags. why would anyone hack up a beautiful looking vehicle like that? I know am gonna get flamed really bad, But I don't see the long term benefit of doing such what people call a "mod" . Hope you love that thing and plan on keeping it along time cause not only are these jeeps getting fouled up, their future value goes right in the dumper. I would never buy something like off of anyone............Let the flaming begin........

Eh, like he said personal preference. Once you own a jeep and have modified. I doubt you will be selling it anyways. Once you put your lift kit and stuff on it anyways any modification will decrease value. Fenders are the least problem..

Anyways, how did you mount those lights on the fender? and sonofabeach I can't see the picture of the job you did on your TJ. I have stock fenders and I wanna see what it looks like..

Thanks.

yep, i think the job was really awesome, you can always go and buy the stock fenders again.

lol you know those come off right? it is a jeep, you must understand, its not like he cut into the body with a jig or something
