Latest update for project big black. Efi, stretch, custom tank, ect

Hey guys figured I would catch you up on my jeep progress.

Last time I was on here I had dual carbs, i have since converted back to efi to make my future turbo setup easier to tune.

I have also swapped new axles in. Previously I had 3.08 geared 1/2 ton axles installed but since I twisted both axle tubes out of the rear pumpkin I decided I needed*
More beef.

I found a guy selling a set of 3/4 ton axles advertised as a ff 14 bolt and Dana 44. When I went to pick them up he was wrong about the Dana 44. It was a 8 lug 10bolt. Oh well. The ff 14bolt was worth more then I paid for it all.

I finished the comp cut and stretched the rear 7.5" and built a new longer tq arm setup, new shock mounts, a custom fuel tank, and aluminum corners.*

I have yet to take her out, I am waiting on new driveshafts and need to finish wiring all the new lights up.*

Here are some pics. Ask any questions and I will answer best I can. And any pics you want taken just ask and il take them.*Il take more pics tomorrow.

Running 4.10s now. That's about as low as I'm going because this is a street driven rig cruised at 70mph and will mostly be a mud runner so wheel speed is more important. I will have a long haul to get to any serious rock trails but it's anywhere from 5-30 min drove for some serious mud.

But then again with the sm465, low gear in low range is extremely low, Plenty low for crawling.

As soon as I get the tubing from my bro in law i will be making a new front bumper/functional stinger. One that is actually braced into the frame so it will handle the vehicles weight if I ever have to use it.

We have some trails here at the river that are really steep, may use it one day. Also, adding onto the cage and connecting everything to frame.
