1) why doesn't owner want to fix it?
2) how handy are you with tools/repairs?
3) have you made estimation of required parts replacement cost to make it run vs mere cosmetics?

I took your advice Jake and checked it out and asked some questions.

1) The owner doesn't want to fix it because after the rollover it sort of freaked him out to drive so he wants to be rid of it.
2) I am quite handy with sheetmetal/welding/body repairs and have the tools to do so.
3) Well I took it to a mechanic who is a good friend of mine and he did a thorough check-out. He says that it will be under 500 bucks to get it in perfect condition.

I'm definitely thinking about it

Do you know how interchangeable the parts from a 1994 YJ would be with a 1998 TJ? I would like to take the windshield and windshield frame from my YJ and put it on the TJ do you know if this would work?
