M416 Off Road Trailer Budget Build...

Figured I would create a small thread on here as I slowly do my build. It will be an extremely slow build since working on the LJ takes priority.

To start things off here is the M416 trailer that I was lucky enough to have follow me home today.....Its pretty solid and already has 3" lift and 35x12.5's. (Sorry for the bad pics but just got in and its dark)

And my goal is to eventually have something along the lines of this but on a small size budget.

Local Craigslist.....been looking for one within a 2 hr drive and most were outrageously priced or rusted to hell. Found this one 3o minutes away, in great shape, and priced decent so I jumped on it. You should be golden living in CA though. I see tons listed out your way all the time.

I was going to keep this a secret till I got mine, but seeing as how you're not only a jeeper but also like C&H, here you go (TONS of Burbank options):

http://www.govliquidation.com/

click the "trucks and other vehicles" link on lower left side, then go to trailers link near top of second page.

Well its going to take some time before I have it up and mounted. I still need to build the frame/rack that will hold the tent, install rear tail gate, paint the exterior, u-pol raptor the bed...ect. I just needed the tent to take measurements for the frame that needs to be built.

It wasnt anywhere close to the cheapest purchase I have made but it will easily pay for itself in lodging costs, comfort, and simplicity in the long run.
