Mounting a winch to custom frot end

Basically I want to mount my winch to this plate but with the custom crossmember and the sway bar are in the way. I plan to cut out the cross member theory being that the bumper takes care of it's job. This is becessary because the winch bolt are bolted from the bottom. The sway bar I want to move backwards and drill and bolt the front hole and weld the rear portion to frame because of there being no space to drill after it is moved backwards.
Other options are the Antioch sway bar but would that still be in the way?
Other options are to get raised plates and fab some mount up on top of the plate and bolt that plate the winch is mounted into the open portion of the plated area that's welded to the frame.
Might not make much sense but I'm in a triky situation. Thoughts or ideas?

You know theres brakelines running down that cross member, and I dont know if that plate would be strong enough. Your best bet is to get a raised winch plate.

All I'm sayin is theres a reason they dont just put a bumper on the front. Without that crossmember your likely to twist the frame and its easier to just put a raised winch plate on there for $100 than chopping up your frame

Sounds like a great way to twist your frame all up. Remove that crossmember, then do a long, hard pull with that winch and you're likely to turn your frame into a pretzel. Just my opinion though. If you're dead-set on doing it, just do it and see if it does what you want it to...it's YOUR Jeep.

If you take out that crossmember, you wont have to wait for the winch to twist your frame up. Just take it for a ride and make a couple of turns, the steering box will twist the frame into a pretzel for you.

The best thing that you can do is to put evrything back to where it is supposed to be as far as the sway bar and such. Then get a high rise winch plate, or have a custom piece made that mounts your bumper farther forward to give you room in there for the winch.

If you move the winch forward a couple of inches, you should be able to get bolts in it on either side of the crossmember.

Actually you dont even have to take it for a spin, just crank it up and it will twist the frame, if you dont believe me go out crank your jeep and rev the engine, everything will tilt to one side cause the torque
