My 89' 4banger

Hey!

I decided to make a topic about my Jeep Wrangler.
To ask some advice and discuss problems/solutions about a Wrangler.

Anyway the first biggest problem with my Wrangler is body rust.
I removed the carpets and near the seatbelts connectors on the floor, there was a big rust, on both sides passenger and driver's side. I took some photos and at the moment I'm looking for a place where I can weld.

If anyone wants to take a look about my Wrangler, then here's the link:

And my question is, that where I should take a closer look?

I just went trough this same repair on my wife's '89 YJ last week and weekend. It sucked!! I don't do body work or weld very well so it was a job for me. In the end it didn't turn out to bad. Good luck with yours.

What kind of rust preventive did you use, after you ended with welding?

I primed and painted it with Rustoleum rattle cans. I sprayed undercoating under the body. I'm in the process right now of spraying Al's Liner bed liner in the tub. I've used this liner several times now and really like it. I don't know what is available to you over there in Estonia.

I also have found something good.
Dinitrol ML
And reading the reviews from the forums, then it is recommended.
Remove the loose rust and just spray it under the body. Let it dry and spray the regular Undercoating under the car it will be just okey.
Dinitrol ML is specially designed to spray it places, where you can't access easily.
