That thing is screaming for a drop and a lip kit. A duckbill spoiler for the hatch would go nice too.

But finish up the jeep first. I wanna see how this all turns out

JKS 1.25" body lift
Novak fan console
Novak t-case shifter
Novak 700r4 to YJ cooling kit (stanless braided lines fittings and cooler)
Auto Meter dash panel
Auto Meter ultra-lite fuel level, and voltmeter electric, trans temp, oil pressure and temp gauges mechanical
Lokar throttle cable
Jegs tv cable bracket

And thats about it. Ill post pics when they come in and start going on the jeep.
Also my brother just bought a exploder for its 5.0 to build and put in his 98 ranger so now he has a spare 8.8 with 3.73 gears (magically matches my front) and lsd just lying around.......mwahahaha

Yessir. The whole 8.8 thing is why im not to mad about the dana 35. My brother took it for a test drive and decided hed try to pop a wheelie in it after seeing youtube videos.
The only thing he popped was the diff apparently from what he told me. Thats when he offered the 8.8. Sweet victory!

Well its been a while boys and girls. Sadly I haven't gotten anything new for the jeep. As far as I know it just needs a speedo tach posi-lok cable and exhaust and I can drive it just fine. I just havent ordered those simple parts. I think my big problem is im 428 miles away from it. I wish I could find a place to keep it down here and work on it here. I think im going to try to get the exhaust done next. I got to get a price on it. After that Ill try to get it down here and just continue to work on it here.

Good news. I got leave coming up in august Ill be there for 9 days. So we are going for the final push to get her done. Ill have it here in october, only because I am taking car of some rust on the tub before it gets worse.

This brings me to my newest idea for paint. I was just going to shoot olive drab and call it done. But everyones done that. As of now my jeeps got a few battle scars scratchs all over and the hood and grill are a off green color with some nasty chips showing red and white.

Jeeps have been to war and back and the battle scars are cool storys soooooo what do you guys think of just wet sand and semi gloss clear. Just to seal it up so it doesnt rust.
And going down the road like that most people would never guess theres a 350 under the hood. hehehe

Jeesh it been a while. I have to post a first start up video. The navy is keeping me real busy. I started in the navy as a E1 seamen recruit. Now I am a E4. 3rd class petty officer. Time flies. Oh, I haven't been on leave for over a year to give you a idea on where's the jeep at.

A lot of people probably forgot about me on here or don't know me since its been so long since I logged in so here's the setup.

Chevy 350 with a 700r4 transmission adapted to the stock np231j
Novak motor mounts and rear mount
Novak transfer case shifter
Novaks radlock radiator with the integrated aluminum fan shroud and e fan
Block hugging headers
Novak 700r4 adapter
And a bunch of other stuff to make it all work. I pretty much have everything that Novak offers for a yj.

After this is buttoned up ill be doing a ome 2.5 inch lift with some 33 mts.

Hope everything is going smooth.

Yea it took way to long. I've only been able to work on it for a total of a month and a half in the past three years due to being away from home with the navy.

How far along are you with yours
