Looks like youve got a good project on your hands. Hows it run? Gotta agree with you on the rear bumper what is that thing!?!

Looking good. I had the same exact thing to do to mine, and have to redo it again.

Good lookin' body work! I do recommend checking the inside of the frame for rust. One of the flaws in YJ because the front and rear of the frame don't have drain holes like the middle does. Best thing to do is take the front and rear bumpers off completely, and look inside the frame. It'll sneak up on ya big time. I had a steering box pull completely through the frame.

Well my uncle owns the body shop so the only thing into the paint job is my time he has the paint already not charging me for it because I help him when I'm not workin. Oh this jeep will be out wheelin once I have it finished and if it get scratched or dented up I will fix it,that's the nice part of a body shop in your family

Correct me if I'm wrong (I probably am) but I heard it was a near impossible feat to fix a scratch in a candy paint job. Having to do with the fact of all of the different coats that go into it.

No u r not wrong if its a scratch its hard to fix it. If I get a scratch in it well so be it but if its a dent or a big scratch then it can be fixed but it is a pain in the a$$ to fix it but it can be done

Here's what you should look into. It's called a candy creme dirt color paint job.

It's the shiznit.

Don't have to worry about scratching it, and if you do, just hit a trail and the paint just fills it self in. No sanding or scrubbing required!
