That that the lopro set up with your cross member or what did you use? Looks pretty sweet, will you be building a flat skid around that?

I was wondering the same thing. What about a skid?

Yes that is my belly up x-member. I will be building a skid plate that will bolt up to the x-member frame mounts and to the front Radius arm mounts But I will not use the skid plate unless I'm heading out for the trails.

The tube is 2x3x.250 tube and the weld on frame mounts are 3/8th" thick angle. I have been use'n 5/8th" hardware.
Next I'm working on getting the front on its' own weight to weld in the back axle mounts at the correct angle

That is not the lopro trans setup. That is the factory tranny setup with a poly mount. I cleaned it all up and painted it to match my new x-member

What poly mount did you use then, that's what I was wondering.

Builds looking nice.

I run MCE fenders, not tube fender flares. they give a lot more clearance plus I high lined my front fenders which added 3.5 inches of "lift"

Rear seat, I got it used and there is a big oil stain on it but I figure you won't see it when the seat covers go on. seat belt in and cargo rack, the seat has sliders and is fully reclinable this pics is reclined and slid all the way back.

I'l be putting in a cup holder where the Rustoleum primer is.
this picture has the back window in place.

Rear frame mounts and tubing bungs showed up yesterday, just need to finish building the axles and get the axle radius arm mounts and I'l be ready to weld the back up. Hopefully soon I'l be getting a 240V outlet so we can weld the frame up with the right size welder not the 110v MIG we've been use'n to tack everything.

I think it'll sit some where about there, the back end will come down a couple inches to level it out.

I didn't think about it but my old intake barely had enough room under the hood and now that I have a MML I don't have room for my Air intake so time to build a new intake.

once I got the front up on its suspension and all tightened down I found out that the axle needed to be moved forward roughly 2.5" so I took it all apart and re-hung the axle in the correct spot. not my lower coil buckets line up with my upper coil buckets/bump stops. This week I'l be working on getting the rear axle under the jeep and getting the rear end on suspension. Once the rear is on its own suspension I'l roll it out side, take some pix and start on the trac bars. This weekend I'm getting the rear arms welded. I think this swap is going to give me a 2" longer wheel base, but I'l know more on that when the 9" is under the jeep.
front arms- roughly 32"
Rear arms- roughly 36"

I got the jeep on its own weight and pulled it out tonight. my bumper height is roughly an inch lower then my friends TJ with a 4" lift and 33s while my belly pan is a clearance is taller then his. I like the way it looks. Now I need to get everything fully welded build the trac bars and order steering/drive shafts. Its getting closer to be drivable.

Working on a small side project to allow for the new 35s and 9" to clear the tub... Yal will see what I'm talking about when the jeep is done. Its only costing me $60 and roughly 4hrs of work.

got all my brake parts yesterday, I'l be running k5 calipers front and rear with full size ford bronco rotor and hubs up front and dodge 1500 rotors out back with custom caliper brackets. got my cho-moly steering heim joints on order and i'l be picking up my DOM for the steering next week. been doing small (cheap) side projects on the jeep while waiting on parts and funds to finish the axle swap. getting everything fully welded on the 29th by a friend with his 220V Mig
