Strange Engineering is rebuilding my 3rd member and I got the proportioning valve installed and the rubber lines in place, getting ready to go thru and torque everything down.

What are you considering 33s?

I'd like 35x10.5, 35x9.5, or 36x9. I have a set of 36x9 I need to pick up but I still need wheel's to fit those tires before I can sell my 35s

too wide for my heep. the widest body part is my tub and right now about 6.25" of tires sticks out of my body, the cops around here don't like it, the 36x9s might stick out of the tub but should only be the bulge. plus I started my build as a skinny tire rig and went with 35x12.5s cause I got a good deal on them. but they just don't work with my truck. I might end up picking up the new tires in the next week or so.

found some 36s bought one and mounted it on the jeep as a test fit and it looks perfect, going to get the rest and 4 more wheels. Also Finally got my custom exhaust welded and installing it today, hooking up the 4x4 cable linkage tonight, front drive shaft is in place too. 4x4 is just around the corner.

New tire 9.00-16(36x9) Goodyear High Milage. Need to get a truck to go pick up the other tires, so might be a week of so. the gotta find some 16x5 to 7 inch wide wheels with 5x5.5 bolt pattern.

Also my new 1/2" synthetic, 20,000# break strength winch line and fairlead complements of my wonderful wife.

I believe the stock steel wheels from a jk will fit the bill for size, bolt pattern, etc

They are to wide, and not sure if the backspacing he wants/needs is there

And maybe I missed it but what happened to the stinger?

JK wheels are 5x5 not 5x5.5 and I'm sure a jk wheel is wider than 7" since they run a 12.5" wide tire on some stock ones. as for the stinger I ended up selling it and I'm going to make a new one when funds allow. My wife has already told me to make one when its possible she misses seeing it when we take the heep for drives.

My stock JK wheels are 7.5" wide. They're the 17" Sport S ones on a 2010.

Thanks for letting me know about your 17" JK wheels. Again I'm going to say that the JK bolt pattern is NOT the same as my Jeep, my jeep has a 5x5.5 bolt pattern and the JKs are 5x5 also I'm looking for 16" wheel not a 17" wheel, and 7.5" wide is still too wide.

Its taking awhile to get my new arms cut and welded. I decided to go with .500 wall DOM tube for my new front radius arms. after that I need to get a new steering box and then pass emissions, I've decided to run 1/8" plate as my skid plates and if I need to strengthen them I'l do that as needed. but 1/8" should be fine and cheap. When I buy the skid plate I'l post pics of the reinforcement I'm talking about, the belly skid will have reinforcement on however I doubt the engine skid will have any.

I went with 3/16 for my skid, it's not too heavy, and I will still be bracing it. I was thinking of using half pieces of 2x2 square cut down the middle for the bracing points. What are you going to use?

Took the jeep out about a month ago to the cliffs for a test run and nothing broke the Jeep did great! I ran my softer front springs, and a spring unseated but nothing major. Reinstalled the taller springs. I'l throw some pics up tonight. I finally bought my self a heater, I will be installing that tomorrow for T4T on sunday. Supposed to be a high of 25degrees on sunday here in the fine city of chicago.
