I tried my best and got it pretty good but took it to a shop and they perfected it for me.

Lots done over the weekend

Cleaned up the frame and spray painted it. Also painted my rear wheel wells.

Mounted up my engine skid. Im adding two bolts to each arm but it was getting dark so I snapped the picture.

Drilled, tapped and Installed RK bumpstops.

Installed currie steering, rancho stabilizer and did the toe in myself. It was very very easy to do.

This is how I ended up measuring for the toe in. Make sure you have enough pressure to hod the bar but not enough to indent the tire.

Then I installed my AntiRock.

Then it was on to making a new bumper. I just have to finish painting it tonight and it will be done.

All tacked up.

All tacked with winch mounted.

Some Stick welds not the prettiest but they will do the job

Smoothed out the welds and put a coat of paint on her.

Well the front bumper is done. Still need to mount and wire the winch back up. In the picture it's just sitting on the bumper.

Rear bumper is painted just need to mount it and finish the rear tire carrier one of these days

Rear bumper is mounted.

The jeep rides a lot stiffer with all the extra weight.

Nice build, while you are detailing/painting why not paint the head light surrounds black, not keen on the plastic chrome bits

Ok so after the install I couldn't get my steering wheel all the way centered its about a quarter of an turn to the right. The reason I can't get it centered is because I'm out of adjustment in my drag link. I do have a few threads left but the drag link bar is hitting the tie rod end that is connected to the pitman arm.

After my lift I had my axle centered and jeep aligned.

So I spoke to currie. They said that the steering is set up for a stock pitman arm, stock track bar bracket, and 4" of lift.

I currently have around 4" of lift, a dropped pitman arm and a track bar bracket that drops 2" from stock location.

As far as geometry goes I thought your pitman arm and track bar mounting point had to be parallel. Which I think is kinda close.

I emailed currie I'll see what they say but I think I'm just going to cut a bit off the end of the drag link.

I've always heard that dropped pitman arms are a nono on TJs. Don't quote me on that though.

I cant decide what I want to do. I'm thinking about getting a new currie track bar which would get rid of the drop track bar bracket which then I could get rid of that horrible drop pitman arm. The driving is not bad at all but I think it would be tighter without the drop pitman arm.

I wonder if their is any pros to having the track bar dropped 2" or they just do it for the steering geometry.

The jeep performed great. Love the tires they flexed great and provided great traction. The suspension flexes great and the anti rock provides great stability and traction.

The bad....the rear bumper is extremely heavy and hit every rock possible.

I also dented the 1/4 rock krawler skid in about an inch total in the middle. Hey People pay good money for tummy tucks.

Also the rubi rocker panels are junk for heavy wheeling. Dented right through the rocker into the tub.

Diff's got busted up good too. One dent was almost through.

Bumper and fenders did their job well.

Three words IM IN LOVE!
