In college I had a 94 xj with a 5.5” RK LA lift and loved every bit of it. Unfortunately I had to part with it due to lack of cash. Now that im 5 years past the college days and have a good job its time for another obsession. After looking for a year or so I found an 04 Rubicon with 14K on her that came with a hard and soft top.

Yeah you can say that again and I got five. My wallet hurts. I'm going to be working on the lift tonight I'll try to take some pictures. Basically I have the midsection done, the rear 44 out of the jeep and the cradle welded on ready to go back under the jeep, all the brake lines done, all the control arm brackets torched off and grinded smooth, and all other stock hardware off. Making moves in the right direction!

I only seen one TJ up close in person running the full Metal Cloak stuff and it didn't look bad. He was on 35's and 2.5" of lift I think, but I still ain't a fan of that over arched front fender.

Looks good though bud, and nice welding job with that stick.

Working on the jeep today. Things to do - exhaust, rear shocks finally came in so I'll slap those buggers on, oh yeah the brown truck dropped off me 4" flares so I'll attach them and take a few pictures, I have to install the pitman arm and bleed the breaks. After that maybe make some bump stops.

Happy holidays! Thanks for following along I'll post some pics today.
