My Turtle Power YJ

Should have done this 6 months ago when i picked up my first ever Jeep. 92 YJ 2.5L with 5spd. its got a custom Sublime Green paint job (dodge viper green) and because its a 4cyl i call her Turtle (green and slow). anyway this is my first jeep, ive wanted a wrangler for a long time. realizing now its too small for my daily driver but i'll deal till i can afford a JKU as a daily and keep the YJ as the toy.

bought this about 6 months ago, came with a 4" RC lift, 2" shackle lift, 15x8" Black Rock wheels wrapped in 33x12.5" BFG AT's. its got a TJ front bumper with fogs and a custom squared rear bumper with 2" hitch receiver. the guy painted it himself before the Geckos came out. its got Rockslider/steps not sure what company but they can be flipped to be a step or sliders. it also came with Neoprene seat covers, hard and soft tops, nerf bar doors and full doors.

so far i've painted the rockers with duplicolor undercoat, added a 20" LED bar on the hood, 2 3" cube LED's on the windshield, did a basic tune up (plugs, wires, cap/rotor, fuel filter). also did the 20 gallon gas tank mod and installed the GM flapper hose to prevent overflow when filling. today or tomorrow im picking up a used rear bumper with tire carrier, stinger front bumper and a high lift with mount for the hood (hoping it fits behind my LED bar.

near future plans are:
Softtoppers frameless soft top
replace driver side floor pan
bedline entire interior
fix rust on rockers
cover with rocker armor
round LED conversion for tails
Smittybuilt Roof Rack

after that who knows. i'll post some pics from when i bought it and to what it is today. this could change weekly so i hope you guys follow and enjoy.

Photobucket is down right now, i'll get pics up when i can

1000x better painting those sliders flares. How's the light output on those cubes?

I had just left for the Caribbean again when you posted lol. Actually still not back yet, I'll be home Monday. Flew my gf down for a little vacation.

Anyway the 4.0 swap isn't gonna happen. My friend ended up selling his YJ instead of parting it out. One of the downsides to Leaving for a month

I bet an aerial shot of your driveway would look like someone spilled their skittles

On a serious note: Nice work so far and I'm really digging the green YJ

after 4 months of having my offroad LED bar and cubes mounted... i finally found the time to wire them up. wow these things are bright! i might get 2 more cubes and mount them on the front bumper but i think these will do for now. 20" double stacked LED bar with one 3" cube on each side of the windshield (4 LED's each)

Thanks! They're super bright. I have to aim the windshield lights a little lower which should get more light in the trails.
