Gotcha. So it really depends on the person and your seating configuration...

Makes sense!

Thanks!

you can always make it adjustable if needed. and removable for that matter if air bag deployent is an issue for you. we just had the tig welder on and a bunch of extra metal laying around.

Adjustable sounds promising, but as I mentioned, I'm nowhere near configured for that since my TJ is a DD. I have a friend that could weld it all up. I could see him putting some kind of shock absorber in there. lol

Rawkon,

Did you ever get to strengthen the cage before you flipped, cant see the vid. I see your purpose and it fits it, only other suggestion is wrist restraints attached to harness .
Like its been said b4 you need thick skin to mod a jeep , not everybody likes it and are quick witted.lol

Tiny was feroucious with her halt and desist attitude hey.....

What sort of travel do you have on the suspension or lift to enjoy jumpin with out crunchin?

havnt flipped the jeep but i did run over a kia spectra and it haulted my build. bent the front axle and tweaked the suspension and steering. it should be back up and runnign any day. the cage is def on the list to beef up, most likley the next thing i do. aside from take it on a few easy trips. people grab the bar, use the straps to hold on too or just rest there arms on there lap. when your hours into a high speed run you use everything you can eventually. Im bumped and strapped at 10inches of travel front and rear. Rubicon express 3.5 coils, fox shocks and bilstein bump stops, using kartek straps that limit the down trvel right before the d shaft and lower control arms make metal contact.
