"Ole Yeller" Build

Well, I had started one of these and it has been outdated so I want to start another since I have a good amount of things going on in the future and want to keep a thread!

I'm going to post some pictures to just show the stages thus far.

This is how it sat the day I bought it. Oh boy did I have some plans for it right off the get go!

Then I went on to add some black steelies that winter, added some small touches like the horrific hood scoop and spare cover etc. etc.

And a poser shot when I thought I was mr. cool guy!

The came spring summer and I instantly had more money since it was summer break from College. So I had a list of things I wanted done. Still, small stuff but I enjoyed the little things I did.

- Milk Jugs
- Rear seat
+ Rokmen steering box skid
+ Rokmen rear frame tie ins
+ Cobra 25LTD CB w/ Wilson 5' flex
+ Rustoleum brand bed liner which I'm redoing
+ Removed the spare
+ 4" 44 LED taillight and Lite N Boltz for the plate.
+Trimmed the front and back flares
+ Junk home made stinger
+ New MT/AT Goodyears

I didn't do much over the winter but plan my build, drive to and from school and focus on my last year and doing well. But every chance I had I was looking at mod's and planning some for the summer.

+ Flat fendered my stock flares
+ JK clear turn lamps for grill/ Grote 7 LED side markers
+ JKS Discos
+ Daystar dash tray
+ Coverall Seat covers
+ Front fog's and spot lights on the windshield
- Rear Bumper (thank you dodge Cummins 2500)
+ Rubicon Express Leveling kit

More poser pictures. The three times I went to attica last year I forgot to take pictures!

The rest of the winter went by with no mods and spring/summer was on its way 2011. I was still focusing on my college career since I was to graduate that spring and I finished up with my degree and got back to work, and we all know what work means, more money for mods!

I started the spring off with a bang by getting all the armor I had wanted

I picked up used from a guy here in Indy (thanks mike) a set of Rokmen Full Aluminum Corners and some Homebrew steel rockers.

So added those, I had added the spare back on and was still running no bumper which I love for departure reasons and the clean look. Probably not good for crash resistance.

Other then that nothing has changed.. Just in the looks department.

Now I have my lift coming together its a custom set-up and is being pieced together. It will be a much different lift in a couple months or until after the June 11th and 12th event. I just want to get the new coils and things in for now and the rest will be done before too long and it will be a nice set-up

I'm waiting on parts from rokmen and others before I will post pictures of the preliminary version of my lift to pass the time till I have the final set-up ready! It's nothing intense.

Pics from my lift. Looks like I netted around 3" maybe. I have a slight vibe at 25-30, and I most likely need to extend my brake lines and breather tubes. I still need to adjust the rear axle to the left about .5" and then get an alignment after I get my 33's in... I wish it could all be done by June.

It rides amazing though! I have a need though, can someone measure from the ground to the frame rail on stock TJ, with 31" tires? I'd appreciate it. I'm at 22" at the ground till my rockers.
