Painted fender flairs

So I painted my fenders today

Looks good. With what and how many coats? I did the same thing about six months ago, just curious about yours.

I used the krylon fusion paint it says it bonds to the plastic..
I did a few coats took about 2 hrs

Thanks for posting... i was skeptic about doing this because i didn't want to pay 300 for flares! But now, my skepticism has been cured!

i got "sem trim black" spray paint for the fenders, but i havent painted them, if i were to go out there and just tape it uo and paint them the best i can would they look okay? or is there gonna be spotting because of 0 experience painting..?

Did you have to clean them first? Is the krylon fusion a primer and a paint?

Krylon seems to be the way to go I got a can just waiting for warmer temps. Whoever did this before; is it buffable or it will ruin the paint?

I would be careful about buffing it because it still has the possibility of chipping. I did not buff mine at all afterwords and even after mud and stuff, it keeps the shine (assuming you use black gloss like I did).

i used the same paint on mine. Looks great and was really cheap
