Painted Windshield hinges and light mounts.

Well, my windshield hinges were horribly rusty, I forgot to take a pic of the worst one but oh well. They looked bad, and were getting worse. and my KC light mounts were getting faded, so I touched them up as well. started with peeling all the flaky paint off then using a wire wheel brush and then sand paper. I couldnt get the front torx bolts off so, I ended up painting them on the jeep. I took the brackets off for the lights. I hit the jeep hinges with self etching primer, two coats of flat black, then a slip resistant coating that is alot like bedliner made by rustoleum. I just cleaned and then slip coated the hinges. started to install the dry side. Here are some pics. I think it looks unique, a bit off but goes with my color scheme. When I get my flat fenders and a few other parts that will be black, It will all match together perfectly. I think they are a nice accent and will prevent further rust and damage.

They work fine, good solid metal, the original paint rusted ever so slightly in a spot or two. but thats expected. They dont quite fit like a glove, but I used a BFH and it helped. for the 28 bucks I paid on amazon I cant complain! thanks man
