That will be awesome. Are you gonna have him do it completely classic, or you gonna have him put a little spin on it?

That's really up to him....I usually give him some direction and let him go with it. I am hoping to have it appear classic from a distance and wild up close.

Thought about this project today, was in Ms and saw a late model Jeep painted like a Golden Eagle. Gold wheels and all. Didn't see the top of the hood, but lettering down the side, white Jeep, tan/brown colored hard top and gold wheels. Couldn't get a pic, saw it at a KFC while driving down the road.

Good choice, when I was growing up Golden Eagles were white and Renegades were brown. Thats just the way it was.

Never saw a green one. I work out on the road alot servicing forklifts, today I was going down an old back road to get to a place and ran upon an old barn and under a side shed was brown Renagade with hard top, and it was sitting behind a older white Corvette. All I can say is this guy has good taste!

Well I had hoped to pick the tub up...get it washed off underneath...and start sanding on it last night. That didnt happen lol, I stayed down at the body shop a little too late drinking beer with the guys. I did get it washed off and home though.

I'd like to extend my roll cage over the winter. Was it a bitch removing yours to weld solid?

I'm looking at the pics, thinking, this really looks good so far. And then I'm thinking, the Jeep has very minimal contours to have to fill & shape. Makes me wanna work on my Jeep more and my Mustang less.

To remove the stock cage is easy....the way my front bars are bent to allow more leg room was kind of a pita to get out. Had it not been for a ratchet strap and the forklift it woulda prolly had to stay.

I ran some down from the top of the windshield around the dash and to the floor, across the top and across the bottom of the windshield, one in the middle back to the main upright, two down both sides splitting the family tube in half, one a the top of that, and two 90's for soundbar pods.
