No its a PP Typhoon one, supposed to outflow an eddy one and a ton less cash. As far as the heads go, I dont remember which castings he got for me as they dont have a name on them, but I know they are a higher port intake and much larger exhaust with stainless valves and 200cc runners and 64cc chambers. He has used them for several years with great success so I said go for it lol

I love building ford engines. the h/c/i 302 in my mustang will likely make its way into my jeep in a year or so.

We are the except in the jeep world I can tell you that much. I have considered selling weld-in motor mounts, but dunno if it would be worth my time or not.

I like the genIII chevys too, but nothing sounds like a pushrod ford. If you ever come out with the mounts let me know. I would love a set. correct me if I am wrong but dont most fords have most of their running gear in the same locations as the jeep so there wont be much fabbing when it comes to diffs and such? anyway, back on topic, youre doing a great job. cant wait to see a finished project.

Yeah a birdie told me that the LS was designed by some prior ford engineers....interesting how they are alot alike that's for sure.

Yeah, all the ford stuff is drivers side drop so you can use any of it to do a conversion. Also, the motors are a better fit because they are shorter lengthwise and with the dizzy in the front, there's no firewall issues.

Yeah I know....jessie gives me crap about it every night. I wish there was another way to do it, but I havent figured it out yet. The only thing I am waiting on for the tub to go back on is the fuel pump. I think I can snake the fuel lines to the tank with the body back on it that is

Getting there! Is the tub finished?

Also, what fuel pump did you end up using?

You could charge people 2 bucks for a meet and greet and im sure you would make enough for a few tanks of gas or beer

Im over but solely because of the motor plan I decided to use. Roughly 11,400 right now.

Had I did a basic small block it would have been half of what it was.

Thanks ..... that's cash I have put into it, not my labor and certainly not the stuff I started with which was:

frame, tub, interior, axles, transmission and transfer case

If we all it add up when its done I bet its gonna be over 20 if I had nothing to start with. But, it will be a brand new jeep done the way I want it.
