Kinda the way it should have been built from the factory

Having a few more issues, had to get some new o-rings for the lockout chrome since the old ones were shot and I could see light inbetween. And the fuel pump kit I ordered doesnt fit at all....so I am researching wtf I can get

Why not get a Walboro 255? I've been running them for years. The import tuner crowd live by them (I also have a fascination for turbo vw's as I'm on my 4th now also), and that is the first mod I recommend for fuel delivery when we boost or up the boost.

I bought a 255 walbro but its not even close to fitting and I really dont wanna cut and weld on my sending unit. And after doing some research, alot of them fail after a few years.

I usually make a solid pickup tube with a screen and mount them inline, as I'm not fond of custom retrofitting a pump to my sending units either.

I've not had one fail on me, but I've had friends experience failures. So I won't argue that point either as it does happen.

Any idea what pump you are going with? The Bosch 044 is what all the bigdogs are using on the track and on the trails here. I just never wanted to boot $200 :-D

Are you going to see if it can be bumped to 50psi, and opposed to the 45 nop? I'd be interested in more information as you get it since I have a few applications that could use a good 50+ psi FP, I like the self-cooling ribbed alum design too.

Im gonna ask about it, but most 408's run around 40 steady so it should suffice for what I need it for.

Decided to roll it around and get it ready for the tub yesterday and since my beater tires are burried I used the bigguns

And I drove this jeep in the shop at 10:00 and the tub was in the air at 12:15....at 3:00 it was a bare frame.
