Got more parts blasted and painted (Cant believe how much stuff I have to refinish)

Also got a good start on my tranny cover. This isn't the first project I have done, but it seems to finish one thing, I have to do 3 things beforehand.....dont remember it being like that before....ugh

The distributor cap on the old 3-cyl OMC outboards
were notorious for developing carbon tracks that would
ruin the cap. Back in the early '70s they were over $100
to replace. They got rid of 'em across the line in '73
with coil per hole...

Back in the '80s we could have used one of those covers on hinges...
I recall we had an early '80s CJ with the 4-speed (service vehicle);
going from 1st to reverse so much would wear out the knob on
the bottom of the shit lever and it would fall out of the fork rods...
You'd go to shift and the lever would end up on the dash or the
seat. Have to take the cover off and then take the top of the tranny off
and reposition the shift lever. Really missed having the 3-speed
on that vehicle...

:-)

Sweet. Now you could do a front burnout. If it ran.

I had to drive mine around for about a week and a half front wheel drive. It sucked.

Till now yes. My water port tubes don't fit, the fuel fittings are too high, I got a junk heim for the draglink, the p/s pulley won't go all the way on, waiting for paint to dry, and I'm almost out of beer. Thinking about saying screw it for the night and collect my thoughts.

I'm getting ready to be forced to quit lol. I did get more stuff painted, brake line brackets made, and an idea how to remedy the water tubes. I also have a buddy on the way to lend me another set of hands so I can force the p/a pulley on
